Registered nurse Kristina Nechol Lewis, of Meridian, is implicated of taking prescription drugs meant for clients under her care at the Golden Living Center in Meridian.
Following a Lauderdale County Grand Jury indictment on Friday, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department jailed Lewis, 31. Lewis deals with 3 counts of getting belongings of an illegal drug by scams, misstatement or subterfuge.
At the time of the supposed criminal activities, Lewis worked as a signed-up nurse at the Golden Living Center at 4728 Highway 39 North. Lewis is implicated of getting Norco including Hydrocodon, a Schedule II illegal drug, from 3 clients at the center and transforming it to her own use, inning accordance with the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.
Lewis’ bond was set at $15,000 and she confronts 15 years in jail in addition to a fine of $3,000.
Lewis bonded from the Lauderdale County Detention Facility and has been launched.
